Dr. Sami Klebanoff, PhD

Dr. Sami is a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience assessing and treating children and families. Dr. Klebanoff received her PhD from UCLA in Educational/Developmental Psychology and specializes in pediatric psychological assessment and parent support services. Dr. Klebanoff has worked in home, school, and clinic settings with individuals with a variety of learning differences, behavioral/emotional challenges, and developmental profiles.

Dr. Klebanoff’s primary specialty lies in performing comprehensive, targeted evaluations that allow families to address their needs and find solutions. She evaluates areas such as ADHD, autism, personality, learning differences/styles, emotional/behavioral challenges, developmental delays, twice exceptionality, and giftedness.

Dr. Klebanoff is also a mother of three young children, which has furthered her passion for supporting children and families. Her understanding of parenthood allows her to serve families with compassion, care, and empathy.

Elise Franks, MA


Registered Psychological Associate

Elise holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is a registered Psychological Associate working under supervision. She has experience conducting psychological assessments, providing individual therapy, and supporting clients across the lifespan. Her clinical training has included work in both private practice and community mental health settings, where she has supported children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges.

Elise specializes in trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based interventions, and attachment-focused work. She has a strong interest in working with youth and families, particularly those impacted by early adversity, and is committed to creating a safe, empathetic space that supports healing and growth. Her approach is collaborative and strengths-based, with an emphasis on understanding each client within their broader developmental, relational, and cultural context.
